Gaussian Edge Extend is based on the popular method used to spread edges pixels and avoid exctraction common issues.

This method is of course the 'blur-unpremult'.

It has Matte and Mask inputs.

Example of use:

gaussianExtend

This node is simply a group that will generate a controled number of iteration of this method! (dynamic nodes creation inside the group)

It's designed the way I use it so I suggest you to shape it your way!

Hi,

I've tried using this node, but noticed that some script in it affects "Copy1" node in my script, not just "Copy1" in your group. It disables/enable s it together with "Copy1" in group.

Also, when I copy this group/gizmo, it has linked connection between nodes.

Couldn't figure it out on my own, where are these commands which disable nodes and create links.

Hi,

It seems that everything works just fine now, you've fixed everything. Thank you, man, great gizmo!

May I ask where are 'scripts' about dynamic nodes stored? I've been writing some simple gizmos myself, but couldn't find how to fix this one.

Thanks!

Sure, this is stored in the 'knobChanged' knob of the group! Just don't forget to specify which knob once changed will launch the python script, otherwise just move or select the node will launch it, and could slow your UI.

Have fun!
