Mate this is awesome. Really a big helper for small houses without big management database. Will come in handy! :)

Thank you! I'm at a small house too so I know exactly what you mean.

:)

btw I just found a little bug, and I have no idea how this can happen :o

Whenever I spawn the Node, the full size format of my project jumps to 1080p. I'm working on a 4K file right now, so it's set to that. As soon as Notes comes up, it's 1920x1080. I think this could be because of the XML-looking-stu ff inside the .gizmo, maybe?
It's not hard to work-around but still, just a heads up :)

I thought I noticed that. It happened to me as well. I haven't had time to look into why that was happening. But you're right. It probably is the XML. Unfortunately, this isn't a true gizmo file. It's a group node with a .gizmo extension. It was a work around for the creating and deleting knobs. If it was a gizmo, the knobs would create in a brand new tab, which was annoying and not what I wanted. But thanks for the heads up! I'll look into in and see what I can fix as soon as I can.

I tried deleting the XML-part and the tool seemed to work fine after that. No new tabs or so.
and only for the record, I much prefer Group to Gizmos myself, and I usually convert all Gizmos I install to groups :) just much less hassle if I have to send out a script to externals, or when I have to go to a different machine that has no proper setup yet. Missing Gizmos gave me so much headache in the past when I received scripts from freelancers, haha :)

sounds like you saved a nuke script including project settings etc.
You should delete that via a text editor.
A simple way of creating gizmos that are actually groups is to export the gizmo, then open it in a text editore and change the word "Gizmo" at the top to "Group".
That should avoid hiccups like this.
