BlinkDirBlur is a heavily modified version of nukes DirBlur node. At first it was created just to be faster especially for the radial blurring due to it being written in blinkscript but soon it was aparent the node much more uses.
By using the Lengh map input, you can even use this node as a distortion modifier similar to how Frank Rueter's 'glass' node works. However the best use case for this node is making extremely trippy effects as you can control the blur amount per channel with no perforamce hit and apply all three types of blurring at once! (the above image is a standard nuke noise node with only the BlinkDirBlur applied using all three blur types at once: Radial, Zoom, and Linear).
Its definitely a node that has to be played with to fine some cool results. Enjoy!
