Create random flickering with controls

Magic gizmo to create random flickering with controls. Useful for example when create a merge with multiply.

 

MagicFlicker

Installation:
Copy the MagicTools folder to the .nuke folder.

Paste the following code into your init.py file, if it doesn't exists, create one.

#MagicTools
nuke.pluginAddPath('./MagicTools')
nuke.pluginAddPath('./MagicTools/Tools')
nuke.pluginAddPath('./MagicTools/Icons')

 

Paste the following code into your menu.py file, if it doesn't exists, create one.

#MagicTools
toolbar = nuke.menu('Nodes')
MagicTools = toolbar.addMenu('MagicTools', icon='MagicTools.png')
MagicTools.addCommand('MagicFlicker', lambda: nuke.createNode ('MagicFlicker'), icon='')

If I may, I'd recommend you to have a look at the noise() and random() expressions. To have a curve as a result is much more usefull than an image.
