A gizmo that allows you to analyze an area and match flicker or deflicker. It use the curve tool and automates the process of applying the data to a grade node for you properly. You can also modify the curves by multiplying or adding. You can normalize the curve data between 0 and 1 and use that in a dissolve to use a certain grade or setup for the lower values and another for the higher values.

Version History

2.5 - Moved Knobs used to modify curves into a Modifiers group.
- Added Link output check boxes to python buttons so you can create nodes with expression links or animation.
- Added a button to create a dissolve node and copy normValues into the which slider to help dissolve between high and low values.
2.2 – Removed legacy nodes inside group
2.1 – Added the info tab with links to website and help documentation
2.0 – Full rewrite. The node has been simplified and the Expressions have been written again to include the ability to alter the curve data with Tint, Multiply and Add functions.
A button has been added to generate an external grade node and you can now properly define a range to normalize between 0 and 1 for use in the switch, dissolve and blend nodes.
1.7 – Fixed the normalize button so it builds the curve based on the user input frame range.
1.65 – Added the channels drop down to the node.
1.6 – Added a pop up dialogue for frame range on the normalize button
1.5 – Added a normalize function to take the highest and lowest values and fit them between 0 and 1
1.4 – a mask input was added, you can add a mask in here to furth isolate the area that the curvetool will compute.
1.3 – Added both an add and multiply functions to the AVG intensity data.
1.2 – Removed the Max/Min option for now. It wasnt giving the correct results
1.1 – Added AVG Intensity Data with the curves normalized to 1 so you can drag these to your own grade node and the ability to modify the curves with a multiply on the values.
1.0 – First version of Flicker with the option to use average intensities or max/min
