this is a little gizmo that creates a nice CameraRig for Stereoscopic work. the key here is that it is very easy to setup, with a poi and a cam_position you can drop it on any motion path.
Requirements:
6.1 or later
Windows

camRig version 1.0

camRig_screen_003

this is a 3 camera rig, it automaticly points to the center of interest. you only need to animate 2 points in space,

the camera position (like a dolly) and the point of interest. the cameras rotate around all axis automaticly so that

the poi is always in the center of all 3 cameras.

you can even check your view easily by using the center camera. it has a seperate node to adjust the eye distance.

camRig_screen_002

because a gizmo has no multiple outputs (or maybe i am to stupid to find it) you need to copy it into a group.

this should look like this:

camRig_screen_001

you can now setup your cameras completely with the nodes in the green backdrop and you don't need to

touch the cameras seperately. i hope you people like it and maybe it makes your work a little easier.

if you like, watch my little tutorial video for this .gizmo you will find it here: http://vimeo.com/18269803

maybe i have posted the direct link in here correctly but i have no idea how this web thing html stuff works so maybe you don't see it in here ;-)

a last little thing, there are a lot of strange expressions in there coz i have no idea how the syntax for a propper if,then, else string should

look like, i do things like division by 0 and other bad things, it works but it is not nice. if there is a coder out there who could give me a hint how

to write this propperly i would really appreciate. i don't want to ask frank constandly ;-)

uhmm It's says "This gizmo was created with a "load" or "source" command. Copy to group does not work for it."what to do now?
