Hi everybody!

It is time to enjoy the simple things in life ;-)

openNclose is a little tool that lets you open and close your node properties as floating windows.

(Look at the gif below)

Installation:

1. Paste the onpenNclose folder in your .nuke folder

2. Add this line to your init.py:

nuke.pluginAddPath('./openNclose')

Enjoy!

I actually love this. Is there a way, though, to have all the floating properties window NOT overlap? Right now, selected node's properties panels open, but they are on top of one another, so I have to drag them all away to see them. If they could open and restrict overlapping, it would be amazing!

I have no clue how that could be done! :-/
Yet! ;-)

Very useful. It seems open.open() and close.close() actually do the same thing. I assigned the script to 'p' to match Houdini's behaviour, and pressing p twice open and then close the props.
I find it better to have a toggle rather than two separate functions, but as I said, it seems to already be the case.

Do you happen to know how to disable node props showing up on node creation ?

The closing aspect is interesting; regarding opening: Whats the difference between your tool and just Ctrl+double click the node?
