New version not documented for new features at the moment, so use it at your own risks.

show menu EXR2metacam

TO INSTALL IT just copy the file in your '.nuke' folder and add the following line in your menu.py

import productivity_scripts_hub

Among others there is :

- 'fetch MetaCam To Transform' create a camera from EXR's metadatas. It works for V-Ray and Arnold. It also handles stereo.
- 'copy node and keep inputs' which is formerly coded for the link_node but is also very handy for multi-connections nodes (Merge, Switch,...)

- 'link' which have his standalone version (older version though) but without the feature of 'copy node and keep inputs' (more description at http://www.nukepedia.com/gizmos/other/link_hub

- Navigation of viewed node : Toggle previous/current, move upward/downward, go to active node, ...

- Display missing frames

- Open selection in explorer. Works for Read and Write nodes. If nothing selected it opens the folder of the comp. (now works on win, linux and mac)

- increase/decrease node font size (now works on backdrops, ie it doesn't effect on nodes selected in it)

- 'Create Folder for Selected Write Nodes' ('Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C') does what it says !

- and many others...

Nice. But where is the productivity_li st_hub module.. It's imported in 175 line.

Sorry Kiran but there's no productivity_li st_hub module, the only module call in the code is the productivity_sc ript_hub module which is itself.
Feel free to ask if you still have troubles to install it

A very useful module. There's everything you need to make beautiful and user friendly comp.

That's all the node that you wished to have in nuke and that it's not by default.

So it's trying to import metaCamEXR_hub and shows a ImportError: No module named metaCamEXR_hub.

Am I doing something wrong or is this module missing in the zipped package ?

Hello, when I try to Create MetaCam from EXR, it show a message that says "name 'metaCamEXR_hub ' is not defined". Any idea what's happening? Thanks!

There was only the compiled version of this module, so i've updated it in the version 2.2. Give it a try, it should works !

I don't think so. I began to work on it, but after that i changed company and i didn't opportuniy to use it anymore and nowdays, i don't have so much time to spend on it unfortunately.. .

Hello Jung thank you very much from this. I have a render from arnold that has a cylindrical render with a filtermap and exporting the alembic camera into nuke does not bring those settings in. So i am hoping this will work. Is it possible to source the scripts without using mport productivity_sc ripts_hub? I do not have access to the menu.py file.

Hello Christian,
You can import it without using menu.py but you'll have to put the python script in your home directory in order to import it.
No import, no scripts.
Apart from that i didn't understand why you're talking about alembic cam since the metaCamEXR generate the camera from the metadatas of the rendered EXR.
