What is Km Rendering Finished ?

This tool shows a Notification with some simple tools after a Nuke render finished

  • Open Render File in player
  • Open Render Directory in file explorer
  • Create Read Node from rendered file
  • Copy Render Directory path in windows clipboard
  • Copy Render File path in windows clipboard
  • Show Render time duration and start and finish time

Install

  1. Copy ‘Km_Rendering_Finished’ folder to nuke plugin path
  2. Add following line to iniy.py file in the nuke plugin path :

nuke.pluginAddPath('./Km_Rendering_Finished')

Compatibility

OS : Window, Linux

Nuke Version: 13, 12, 11

.

Notes

About the “Open Render File” button : to work correctly for sequence renders,
you should have installed a player for sequence files such as “pd player” and
set it as the default program for that type of files.

I did not test it in linux but yes I think it's not compatible with linux yet. probably some python functions need to customize for linux. I'll make it compatible with linux in new version soon

Ayo just tested it. Only open render path feature seems to work

UI shows up at random location on my screen tho. And doesn't show up whenever i try to render to same location with same naming

That's odd ! I've tested it on ubuntu and everything works fine ! Which distribution of linux do you use ?
