This is the tabtabtab tool that Ben Dickson made (http://www.nukepedia.com/python-scripts/ui/tabtabtab/), with a few small changes to the code to make it work for Nuke 6.2. I tested it with Nuke 6.2v1 and it works. It may work for older versions too.

This is the tabtabtab tool that Ben Dickson made (http://www.nukepedia.com/python-scripts/ui/tabtabtab/), with a few small changes to the code to make it work for Nuke 6.2. I tested it with Nuke 6.2v1 on Linux x64 and it works. It may work for older versions too.

To install it, it is the same as tabtabtab in the above link, except in your menu.py, you will import tabtabtabLegacy instead of tabtabtab. There is also an addition SEColours.py file which just contains the stylesheet to make tabtabtabLegacy fit into Nuke's colour scheme, as in Nuke 6.2, the tool doesn't inherit the colours from Nuke by default it seems.

If you need to add custom menus etc., edit the tabtabtabLegacy_menu_items.py file. You should be able to work out the syntax, even if you don't know python.

I have made any new version, the same as the tabtabtabLegacy version, to keep things the same. tabtabtabLegacy may be incorporated into the main tabtabtab  by Ben in the future.

For more info about how it works, see: http://www.nukepedia.com/python-scripts/ui/tabtabtab

Thanks!

Ah cool, good work!

Just uploaded v1.4 - would be good to incorporate these changes into your version, as it fixes a couple of annoying bugs

Hm, these changes are less dramatic than I expected - I might see if I can incorporate this into the main version at some point

Thanks Ben! Ok, I'll have a look at incorporating the changes into legacy. Yes, the changes I made to your code weren't very big, so it'll be cool if you are able to merge it with your main version sometime :-). Will let you know when I have uploaded :-)
