Blendspill was created to get rid of those edges we all know when you're working on a green or blue screen. It was designed to be as non-destructive as possible, so no edge extend, push, or blur. Instead, it uses the spill and background information. It's like an Image Based spill to color that uses the BG

Today, we're delivering a significant blow to those pesky edges!

Blendspill gets rid (or tries to) of those edges we all know when you're working on a green or blue screen. It was designed to be as non-destructive as possible, so no edge extend, push, or blur. Instead, it uses the spill and background information.

It's not a despill, it's an edge treatment that goes after your despill.

the gizmo is a group so you can take a look inside to see what's going on under the hood, but it basically subtracts the screen from the bg and then multiplies it by the spill information. So it would be like an Image Based spill to color that uses the BG
