A free alternative to Ocula for generating disparity maps for a stereo plate in Nuke. Resulting disparity map can be used for all functions of stereo workflow, such as correlating roto shapes and transform data. Can also be used in conjunction with the A_ColourMatch tool(coming soon...) to correct for colour mismatches in a stereo pair.

Sorry Nukers, forgot to include install instructions. Simply drop the Gizmo file into your .nuke directory and copy the following code into your menu.py:

import nuke

m = nuke.menu("Nodes")
n = m.addMenu("A_Tools")
m.addCommand('A_Tools/A_DisparityGenerator',"nuke.createNode('A_DisparityGenerator')")

Hi Adrian. I've seen your tutorial on this but the thing is, i dont get it about how to use this stuff. Untill tutorial, it was crystal clear, but just dunno how to use this stuff. What is input and output? Does it work for just one frame? Can you give simple example of how to use this node? Thanks!
