Written to tackle my greatest nemesis while rotoing, disappearing toolbar!

Always have this occasional issue where all the toobars on viewer disappear. To fix this I usually delete viewer and create a new one, or restart nuke. The former requires me to reconnect all my viewer connection and change altered viewer setting, while the latter just takes time.

viewerRefresh

Well the script does the former method by duplicating the original viewer so to keep the altered settings, reconnect all the connections, and look at active input, all in one click. And the toolbars are back.

viewerRefreshed

Only tested in Linux/Windows, Nuke11 but I imagine it should work on any versions any platforms as well.

Simply put it in your .nuke folder and add following line to menu.py

import refreshViewer

I was curious if anyone had this issue before, it happens so randomly I can hardly show anyone. So when it occurred this time I decide to take a few screenshots and upload the script here instead.

I actually didn't know those there are hotkeys to toggle to toolbar though, don't think I've been hitting them but I'll see if that fixes it next time! If it does then I guess I learned something! Thanks!

I ran into this bug too, and the hotkey for the toolbar is not really possible on my keyboard so I think I will just install this. Thanks :)

Encountered the bug again, can confirm hitting hotkeys "[]" or "shift+[]" doesn't fix my problem. Just seems to be toggling a blank space. Will do a screen record next time to report to Foundry.

I can also confirm that I get this bug pretty regularly. It's quite an annoying thing that perhaps is new in nuke 11? I never had this bug a few years back in earlier versions of nuke.

The bracket shortcuts ( "[]" or "shift+[]" ) don't fix the problem. The UI isn't hidden, it's completely gone.

Quick edit: thank you for the tool! It works great!
