Blinkscript Median with size controls.
I have just approved the upload, thanks Mark!8 Years ago
I have just uploaded a plugin called "Fast Median", which does basically the same as Nuke's Median node, but in a much faster render time. Hopefully this is what this request is about (even though it's not Blinkscript but a compiled plugin). The tool is pending approval for release on Nukepedia right now, but you can already download it from my website: http://www.mark-spindler.com/tools_fast_median.html8 Years ago
Should be noted that you need a faster algorithm than the brute force one that is being used in Nuke. Since a straight rewrite of the median node in blink is sadly is not going to give any significant performence boost. Whoever looks into this should take a look at faster algorithms like this one http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.93.1608&rep=rep1&type=pdf20
