Hi,

Here is my gizmo for adding a lens water effect to a shot.

The controls should be pretty straight forward, but here is a walkthrough video.

UPDATED v1.1

v1.1 has an added checkbox to use a pre-rendered water mask. So if it's running slow check the 'Rain only' box and render the black and white image. Then create a read for the files you just rendered, and plug that into the 'drops' input and check 'Use Pre-rendered Drops input'.

v1.1 also has global gravity direction controls

Thanks

Thanks for the nice comments! I've just updated it so you can now use a pre-rendered drops sim, and it has gravity directional controls.

is this only for nukeX? I'm getting this error "This functionality is only available in NukeX. Current licence name is nuke". I'm using nuke 8.0v5

Hi Ricardo,
Yes, it uses particle systems that are only available in NukeX.
RainMaker might work in Nuke, but only with the default settings.

Thanks for getting in touch

Hi Everyone,

I'm getting an error on this script; Read Error: No Plugin Named "GizmoReader" Found.

Forgive me if this is a simple fix, I'm a newbie.

Thanks,
Ry

just had the same issue when I dropped a gizmo into my nuke script. I resolved by doing:

1. file-> insert comp nodes
2. navigate to your gizmo
