Settings

Output Dropdown:

  • Drops Only: outputs only the droplets
  • ST Map + Mask: outputs the ST map in RGB and the mask in A
  • Combined Image: merges the droplets over the input image

Normal Size:
Adjusts the offset that is used to generate the normals from the mask. Basically acts as an intensity slider. Note: If you push this too far when you have hard edges in the input mask you will start to get some undesirable results. In this case you can try to increase the Normal Blur Size to counteract that effect.

Normal Blur Size:
Amount the incoming mask is blurred. Higher values soften the appearance of the droplets.

Image ST Map Mix:
Amount the generated ST Map gets blended with the ST Map of the Image itself. This is great to vary the refraction across the frame.

Mask Level:
Adjusts the minimum value of the input mask where droplets should be visible.

Mask Softness:
Adjusts the range around the Mask Level value that is ramped to feather the edges of the droplets.

Mask Falloff:
Adjusts the gamma of the mask's soft edge to control the falloff.
