From an image containing position data, create a static or animated 3D noise pattern.
You can choose between the two main noise generators in Nuke (fBm and turbulence), adjust the scale and offset of the noise pattern, and set the octaves, lacunarity and gain parameters of the noise generator.
I find this one very useful to add some texture to a 3d object, break up a 3D matte to get some variation, fake some shadows running over an object using a large animated pattern, etc.
