This tool compares the timecode metadata from two footage inputs—typically a high-resolution scan and its proxy version—and calculates the frame offset between them. It then generates a 'TimeOffset' node in the main node graph with the calculated offset value.
The user can manually set the FPS value if it differs from the project settings to ensure accurate calculations. By plugging the 'TimeOffset' node into the proxy footage, both inputs can be aligned, eliminating the need for manual eye-balling.
Timecode should be something like this in the metadata on both footages to work.
'input/timecode 12:34:56:78'
