lp_NoiseDistort

Distorts an input by two individual noise layers to quickly get some motion into boring background imagery :)

Compatible Nuke versions: 8.0 or later

Compatibility: Linux, Mac, Windows

'lp_' is not really the name inside of Nuke, it's more for organizing on a server/computer harddrive

NoiseDistort is designed to quickly animate still and/or boring (background) images.

It uses two individually controllable noise-layer to distort the image for a more natural look; a small noise for finer details (e.g. leaves) and a big noise for larger areas (e.g. branches). The noise can be adjusted for different aspects (e.g. water) and also be rotated.

The tool is expression-animated over time by default, it is easily adjustable if you need manual control though.

Even though it was designed to give still-images of plants a bit of life, it can also be used for water or entirely different stuff; I once used it to animate a stationary firework :)

This was the very first tool I made, so I'm pretty happy that I can finally release it :)

This tool is insipred by a tutorial of VFXLUNCHBOX. I didn't tested it with older versions, as long as iDostort is available it should work without flaws
