This soft effect is built upon the standard Burn-In effect, but it allows you to write and display your own custom notes directly in the viewer.
############################
Important: Known Issue
There is a critical compatibility issue when using this tool alongside the standard BurnIn soft effect.
To prevent Hiero / Nuke Studio from crashing, you must ensure the standard BurnIn layer is placed below the CustomNotes layer in your timeline's effect stack.
############################
The properties panel includes several pre-defined color buttons for quick formatting. You can also change text color by standard Nuke color knob.
Installation:
Best way is to copy both files (MB_hiero_custom_notes.gizmo and register_hiero_custom_notes.py) into .nuke/Python/Startup folder. No need to change init.py or menu.py files. CustomNotes will be added into soft effects menu in Hiero
Note: This folder path is case-sensitive. Ensure "Python" and "Startup" begin with a capital letter.
