J_Ops
Updated: 6 May 2015
Author: jackb
Compatible Nuke versions: 9.0 or later
Compatibility: Linux 32, Linux 64, Mac 32, Mac 64, Windows 32, Windows 64
J_Ops includes:
- J_3Way - a ASC CDL compliant GPU accelerated 3 way colour correction tool with intuitive in viewer controls system
- J_GeoManager - a 3d troubleshooting tool, showing info on 3d scenes, and offering the ability to strip objects, attributes, materials and transforms.
- J_GotSomeID - a utility tool streamlining working with ID and coverage passes, where ID passes can be in old school hue style encoding, or float channel identifirs with embedded aliasing data. Allows easy extraction of mattes, with optional premulting of a selected beauty pass.
- J_ICCkyProfile - an op to build colour transforms based on ICC profiles.
- J_MergeHDR - a plug-in to assemble high dynamic range radiance maps from a series of low dynamic range photographs. Includes functions to estimate camera response curves, and to align the multiple exposures. Check the video tutorial section for an intro
- J_Mullet - a set of tools offering rigid body physics within Nuke's 3D system and based on the Bullet multiphysics solver, J_Mullet consists of the 5 following nodes:
- J_MulletBody - define physics bodies to be included in the scene, the proxy collision shapes and other characteristics such as mass, restitution and more.
- J_MulletCompound - combine multiple physics bodies into one.
- J_MulletConstraint - define connections between physics bodies, the world and each other.
- J_MulletForce - define forces acting on bodies within your scene.
- J_MulletSolver - the engine tool doing all the heavy lifting, the solver node is responsible for performing the simulation, as well as providing baking and troubleshooting functionality.
Check the video tutorial section for an intro
- J_rawReader - an rewrite of the Nuke crwReader, adding support for Nikon and Panasonic raw files plus Adobe DNG's. It also allows access to the underlying debayer, colour correction and de-artifacting controls, along with speed ups against the Nuke
version, no external dependancy on DCRaw and progress feedback.
- J_Scopes - a plug-in to analyse your image to draw a variety of histograms, vectorscopes, waveforms and parades.
- J_ZKeyer - a utlity tool providing a quick and intuitive interface for selecting regions of a depth matte. The defined region can either be output as a matte, or a Zblur tool created matching the configuration.
- J_ZMaths - convenience tool for converting between different depth pass encodings.
J_Ops also bundles utility python scripts, as well as adding a preferences tab to allow easy configuration. The scripts include:
- Improved drag and drop - create geo nodes when dropping geometry files, vectorfields from LUTs and optionally recurse into subdirectories on a folder drop.
