Das Element action hook that opens selected elements in the USD viewer (usdview). If a folder path is provided, it will search for all USD files in that folder.

Opens the selected elements in USD viewer (usdview)
An element can also point to a folder, every USD file inside the folder gets opened
Requirements
das element 2.2 or newer

Install
Copy the folder from the download into the Das Element hooks folder.
Das Element loads hooks from these folders, in order of priority:
$DASELEMENT_HOOKS$DASELEMENT_RESOURCES/scripts/hooks~/.das-element/scripts/hooks(the default when no environment variables are set, or$DASELEMENT_USER_CONFIG_PATH/scripts/hooksif that is set)
Configure
Open action_usdview.py and edit the line containing {CHANGE HERE} in the USER CONFIGURATION block, so APP points to the usdview executable:

When the USD bin folder is on the PATH, setting APP to usdview is enough. Useful options for APP_ARGS are listed in the usdview documentation, for example ["--norender"] for a fast hierarchy-only browser.
Restart Das Element afterwards so the button appears.
