DESCRIPTION

Extends and distorts the edges of a plate through a lens matte
(Alpha or Luma), with optional chromatic separation.
Features:
- Lens matte from Alpha or Luma
- Blur, size and multiplier controls for the lens
- Distortion amount (positive and negative)
- Optional matte mode (distort only where the lens is)
- Optional alpha distortion and chroma separation
- One-click "all Settings Reset" button (undo-safe)
- About / Splash button with animated credit screen

INSTALLATION - STEP BY STEP
--------------------------------------------------------------
STEP 1 Extract the downloaded zip file.
STEP 2 Open your .nuke folder:
Windows : C:\Users\<username>\.nuke
Mac : /Users/<username>/.nuke
Linux : /home/<username>/.nuke
STEP 3 Copy these into the .nuke folder:
init.py
menu.py
nk_credit.py
gizmos/ (the whole folder)
Final layout:

Lens_Edge_Extend.gizmo
IMPORTANT: if you already have init.py or menu.py,
do NOT overwrite them. Open the new files in a text
editor and paste their contents at the end of yours.
STEP 4 Restart Nuke.
STEP 5 Check the Script Editor. You should see:
nk_credit installed: Lens Edge Extend v2.0 by Nitin Kashyap ...
STEP 6 Create the node:
Menu bar > NK_Tools > Lens_Edge_Extend
or press Tab and type Lens_Edge_Extend

USAGE - STEP BY STEP
--------------------------------------------------------------
STEP 1 Connect your plate to Src.
STEP 2 Connect your lens matte to Lens.
STEP 3 (Optional) Connect a mask to Mask.
STEP 4 Choose "Alpha" or "Luma" in the Lens dropdown.
STEP 5 Adjust Lens Size, Blur Lens and Distortion Amount.
STEP 6 Turn on Distort Chroma and adjust Chroma Separation
for colour fringing.
STEP 7 Click "all Settings Reset" to return to defaults.

TROUBLESHOOTING

NK_Tools menu missing
-> menu.py must be directly inside .nuke. Restart Nuke.
Node not found
-> Gizmo must be in .nuke/gizmos/ and init.py must be installed.
Splash does not show
-> Look for "nk_credit:" messages in the Script Editor.
To disable the credit module, set the environment
variable NK_CREDIT_DISABLE=1.
