Compatibility: Source

Easily convert an image sequence + camera + deep data or geometry into a sparse point cloud format (images.txt, cameras.txt and points3d.txt). An automated way to generate a dataset from within Nuke to send to COLMAP-compatible solvers such as Jawset Postshot.

ColmapFromDeep: As the name suggests, this tool extracts 3d points from the Deep data to derive the point cloud.

ColmapFromGeo: This tool converts take a ReadGeo as its input and converts the vertices of the geometry to generate the point cloud. This work nicely with dense meshes such as Lidar or photogrammetry.

Keep in mind ColmapFromGeo will use the enitre mesh, also vertices that might not be visible through the camera. If you wish to limit your point cloud to what is seen through the camera, you could render the mesh through a ScanlineRender and use a ColmapFromDeep instead.
