This is a Card which is being controlled by 2 Axis. This helps to manipulate it in a better way. For example if you would want to have elastic sort of liquid between your creature's finger. By adding this card, having images of liquid things, and parent it to fingers easily can be achieved.
Stuff like ribber band also can be used. The good thing about it is, having 2 Axis that can recieved information from Alembic or any locators and there you go.
