This node offers all crop options you need. It adapts automatically to its input. So there is no need to come back and hit the reset button manually if anything changes in the script.
It can also automatically crop to:
+ the inputs bounding box and
+ to a unified bounding box which means that a new bounding box will be
created which is as big as the inputs largest overscan numbers in width and height.
In addition you get buildin control over the bbox size which can be restrained to maintain the aspect ratio or to add a constant pixel value to all dimensions.
